我想艺术理应成为当代寓言。 明知盛装之后是空悲，作秀之后亦是空悲，不过，这一瞬间如此辉煌！中国当代艺术在主流化之后极尽灿烂，一片繁忙与得意，不再悲起悲落。人登空城看烽火。极尽灿烂之后是空悲的美，多米诺的结果是观望者的缩影。事物总是毁灭的，但毁灭的意义一定各有不同。

LIUXIAODONG＇S NEW WORKS：DOMINO
I think that art has in many ways become a sign of the times. We know well that behind its lofty couture and elaborate shows lies a tragic emptiness, and yet still the fleeting moment achieves a certain glory. As Chinese contemporary art becomes more and more mainstream, it burns brighter than ever, bursting with energy and pride, no longer doomed to the tragic vicissitudes of the past. We the people can today ascend the ramparts of an vacated city and witness the flames as they burn out.After extreme brightness follows the beauty and tragedy of emptiness. After the dominoes all that remains is the reduced shadow of the onlookers. All things must end in destruction. Yet, the significance of each destruction must be, by definition, different and distinct.
