亚洲国际艺术及古董展 使命

在香港举办亚洲国际艺术及古董展具有两个重大使命。第一个使命是奠定香港贵为亚洲艺术品交流中心的重要地位。一直以来，香港的艺术品交易市场堪称与伦敦及纽约两大市场看齐。然而，作为国际大都会的香港却独独欠缺一个足以与其它国际市场媲美的艺术展览会。亚洲国际艺术及古董展希望可以填补香港市场的缺陷。同时亦可藉此活动向世界展示香港在世界艺术品交易市场的影响力。
其二是推动宏扬中华文化。亚洲国际艺术及古董展无疑增加香港市民大众对中国文化艺术的了解和认识。透过展览期间一系列的精彩活动，包括众多的国家珍宝展览及专家的专题讲座，提高市民对中国历史及艺术文化的认识，大大有助于中华文化的发扬光大。
Mission
We have two missions to uphold the Asia International Arts & Antiques Fair in Hong Kong. Firstly, to establish Hong Kong’s prominent position as a leading trading center for art works in Asia. For long, Hong Kong being one of the metropolises is in absence of a world-class art and antique exhibition. In view of the fact that Hong Kong is in lack of a tie-in exhibition with the international auction, AIAA2006 intends to mend this gap and showcase Hong Kong’s strength in the international art and antique market through this fabulous event.
Secondly, to promote the Chinese culture. AIAA2006 aim at arousing and encouraging the public’s interest and understanding towards Chinese art, history and culture through a series of events including but not limited to various special exhibitions of world treasures and forums conducted by related specialists and experts.
其二是推动宏扬中华文化。亚洲国际艺术及古董展无疑增加香港市民大众对中国文化艺术的了解和认识。透过展览期间一系列的精彩活动，包括众多的国家珍宝展览及专家的专题讲座，提高市民对中国历史及艺术文化的认识，大大有助于中华文化的发扬光大。
