附中往事

当年就有这么一段历史值得回忆。
读附中的时候，学校的氛围不像现在能随意画，而要掌握一个分寸，不能画得太过分，否则就是白专。当时提倡“又红又专”，这对热爱画画的人来说，是一个紧箍咒，在心理上是一个很大的压力。比如寝室里聊天的时候，如果你在画画，会觉得是一件很亏心、见不得人的事。后来因为实在太爱画画，为了能画很多画，就翻出学校的围墙到外面市场上去画，但在市场上怕有老师来买菜时看见，于是就躲在居民的家里面，通过门缝观察市场来画画。
现在能随意画，真是幸福。就如以前每个月只能吃几两肉，现在爱怎么吃就怎么吃。
reminiscences of high-school days
There is something to be remembered from that time.
When I was at high school, I was not allowed to paint casually or I risked being too academic's tionary?in the eyes of the government. The political atmosphere was inhibitive and there was psychological pressure on an art lover. I would feel ashamed to talk about painting in the dormitory. Since I loved painting, I had to go to the market outside the campus, and I hid in the homes of local folks and painted from cracks in the door lest my teachers shopping there might find out.
I feel so happy now I can paint so freely. This means eating as much pork as I like instead of having only a few pieces to eat every month.
