王立梅

　　王立梅，女，现任中华世纪坛世界艺术馆馆长。

　　1972—1978年在故宫博物院工作学习，并从事宣传、教育工作。1978年至2003年在国家文物局外事处，从事中国文物对外交流工作。历任副处长、处长、局外办主任。期间，组织、策划了几十个大型中国文物展。如：《中华五千年文明艺术展》、《中国考古黄金时代展》、《汉唐文明展》(美国)，《黄河文明展》(意大利)，《中国考古新发现展》(法国)，《中国丝绸之路展》(克罗地亚)，《中国百件珍贵文物展》(耶路撒冷)，《世界四大文明-中国文明展》(日本)，《国宝展》(香港)等等。还与各国相关机构合作，促成了多项文物研究和保护项目。如：与美国梅隆基金会(The Andrew G. Mellon Foundation)合作的中国博物馆馆长培训项目，与香港文物保护基金会(China Heritage Fund)合作的故宫建福宫复建项目，等等。

　　2003年以来，主持筹建中华世纪坛世界艺术馆，组织、策划了一批大型展览。如：《意大利文艺复兴艺术展》、《从莫奈到毕加索》、《伟大的世界文明》、《庞贝末日—源自火山喷发的故事》、《古典与唯美—西蒙基金会藏欧洲19世纪绘画精品展》、《传承与守望：翁同龢家藏书画珍品展》、《秦汉罗马文明展》等。

　　Department of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, 1978-2003. As head of foreign affairs, she planned and organized dozens of wonderful exhibitions abroad including "The Art of Five Thousand Years of Chinese Civilization”, "Golden Age of Chinese Archeology", "Han - Tang Dynasties Civilization”, "The Yellow River Civilization", "New Archaeological Discoveries of China ", "The Silk Road", “National Treasures" and many others.

　　Ms. Wang has also organized a number of projects in education and cultural heritage research and conservation: the training programme of Chinese museum directors funded by the Mellon Foundation in the US and the restoration of the gardens in the Forbidden City funded by the China Heritage Fund in Hong Kong.

　　Since 2003, Ms. Wang has put her all efforts in setting up and developing the Beijing World Art Museum. A number of high level exhibitions have been held at the museum, including "Mirroring the Age – the Italian Art of the Renaissance"(2006), " From Monet to Piccaso - Masterworks from the Cleveland Museum of Art"(2006), "The Great Civilizations" (2006), "Tales from an Eruption: Pompeii，Herculaneum, Oplontis"(2007), "From the Academia to Impressionism: 19th Century European Paintings of the Perez Simon Collection"(2008), "The Preservation of Inheritance - the Weng Collection of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy"(2008) as well as “Qin-Han and Roman Civilizations”(2009).
