Liu Chao
In 1972, born in Tianjin;
In 1996, graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics;
In 1999, graduated from Peking University with master’s degree in Computer Science;
In 2008, won the doctoral degree in Astronomy with National Astronomical observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences;
Now, working at MPI für Astronomie.
1996-1997: studied art courses in Peking University;
In 1998, joined the Modern Arts Society of Peking University and took part in organizing “the 21st Century Calligraphy Exhibition: Modern Calligraphy”, which was not held;
In 1998, took part in “Intervention of EDIA—Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Art”, International Artist Studio, Qingdao, Art Commune, Hong Kong
In 1998，took part in “Rethinking tradition——an exhibition of contemporary Chinese art”, German Embassy in Beijing
